The brew temp is approximately 200 degrees. The temperature in the glass carafe, immediately after brewing, is about 180 degrees if the carafe has not been preheated.

At the preset time, the grinder will grind the beans into the filter. The filter holder will then swing back above the glass carafe, and brewing will begin.
